Platial Announces Place Blogging- Everyone's Juicy Details.

As more and more Places were added to Platial, we noticed there were two distinct kinds of data;

1. Neutral Place Information on everything from restaurants, businesses, volcanoes, landmarks and farmer's markets
2. Stories and opinions about what happened at these Places and why they were meaningful and sometimes juicy.

We realized that organizing all of this based on how people use Platial was important so, we created Place Blogging. Actually, Chris had conceived of this long before Platial (or Google) but the idea (and Chris) had to wait until the right time.

it's simply a better way to share and organize Places.

Seeing what people have to say about a Place and posting your own opinion, stories, images and videos about any Place is easier than ever.

It breaks down like this...

Neutral Information found in Place cards
(Like business cards but we encourage non commercial Places too!)

Thanatos--

You are so right about deleting Places! We've been working on it and the delete button will be there within the next couple days. I'm sorry it caused you to have bad data on your hopmepage for even a minute.

We're also working on the "show all" feature, by the way. It is coming soon!

Can't say as I'm too crazy about having every little misfire getting a "Place Card".
How do you delete them?

It's bad enough that we only get 20 locations per page and that there's no way to sort them - I really don't want advertise that I screwed up - or that Platial couldn't find my location. Since I can't delete these "Place Cards", they are simply taking up space.

Thanks Tana- can't wait to see the photos. I found the name of the Place irresistible ;-).

That is so cool that you used Dirty Girl Produce. The farmer is a friend of mine...yes, I've been there, many times, and have so many beautiful photos of his farm. It's one of the few ones in the city limits of Santa Cruz.
