"Last month, the government of Queensland approved the use of Creative Commons, which allows free re-use of copyright material subject to certain conditions, as part of a new licensing framework. Meanwhile, the Commonwealth (federal) government is expected to give the green light to creative commons in a new set of guidelines for the management of the government's intellectual property." A great internal space map posted to the neogeography flickr group by
the_bumblebee. Here is what he has to say about it:
A visual summary of my son, daughter and cat's movements over a period of an hour - Christmas '06. I used a marked-out grid and filmed them moving on video across the grid for an hour. I then reviewed the video and plotted their movements onto a 'room map' with corresponsing grid. A curious information graphic if nothing else..
An animated version thru time would also be pretty interesting.
Faced with the war crazed world of 1943, Dali creates this darkly optimistic picture of the emergence of a new kind of human.
"When during the history of its culture a people feel the need to cut the ties with which it is bound to the logical systems of the past in order to obtain an independent mythology - a mythology which perfectly fits its essence and its total expression of their biological reality and is recognized by the higher elite- then public opinion demands from the pragmatic society, considering its own systematic, that the motives for such a split is enlightened with traditional and worn out formulas."
What is our new mythology?
