Istanbul based photographer Mike Mike is building up a collection of facial aggregates that represent the unique flavor of a particular city at a particular moment. The cool thing about this project is that he takes into consideration the distinct character of each place, most of these 'what is the average look of humanity' projects are going for a global merge. My only crit is that it seems incredibly biased towards young adults, there isn't a representation of older populations, even for cities with higher proportions of older people.
What about a guessing game? Who can guess the cities of these 3 examples?

I would have guessed somewhere in Brazil, Peru and Holland ...but then I see that the cities are in the jpg filenames!

I feel like any of them could be almost anywhere. Except little blondie there on the end. She's got to be, like, Munich or maybe Amsterdam. She's not quite pretty enough to be Helsinki.
That first guy could be Paris, Milan, Madrid, Fez, Istanbul, or London. Impossible to tell.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Sydney for the middle one, even though she probably isn't quite Asian enough.
I am totally with you on the age thing.
